Your safe flight in times of COVID-19

In times of the Covid-19 Arcus Air Group guarantees the highest health and safety standards.

We want to make your stay with us on board as pleasant and safe as possible, even in this
situation. We have taken various precautionary measures to best protect you and our crew members and the employees on the ground from health risks.

Arcus-Air meets all the requirements and recommendations of the National Aviation
Authority (LBA) and the European Aviation Security Authority (EASA).

Travelling in utmost safety with additional measures

We have set up a wide range of additional service measures to keep you safe on board like disinfection of each aircraft after every passenger flight, mouth and nose masks for the crew before and after the flight, additional safety rules for the crew etc. (pls. see below)

Additional services to keep you safe
  • Disinfection of each aircraft after every passenger flight. This means that our aircrafts are generally disinfected by our crew members after and before each flight, and not only as required, if the aircraft was in an area with a high risk of transmission of the Covid-19 infection. Each of our crew members has received a training specifically for this.
  • The selection of the hotels for our crew members is carried out according to a strict standard and fulfils all requirements for the current situation.
  • All common and known precautionary measures are observed and followed by our crew members.
  • Before, and after the flight duty, our crew members wear mouth and nose masks, which they do only remove for safety reason in flight and will change it minimum all four hours.

We offer you are pleasant and Safe Journey

  • Nobody, except the passengers and Arcus-Air crew members are allowed to board our aircrafts.
  • Our crew members will strictly observe the social distancing. Therefore it is e.g. for the moment not possible for our crew members to greet you within the airport building. This will be only done directly at the aircraft and without handshake. The same applies to the farewell.
  • Disposal bags for masks and handkerchiefs etc. are available on board our aircraft.
  • Disinfectants for your personal use are of course also available on board of our aircrafts.
  • During the onboard service we offer you only packaged snacks and beverages. Glasses, dishes and also coffee and hot water are not available on board.
Rules for Passengers / Passenger documents

We ask for your understanding that we can only transport people who are explicitly named in the passenger list and for whom we do have also all necessary data, which has to be available for us before your flight.

Unregistered persons cannot be carried, as this can lead to considerable delays and flight cancellations. At the destination, entry may even be refused for this person.

It is mandatory to fill out the following documents:
Public Health Passenger Locator Form (Completed by the main traveller)
Notification of Health Status (Completed by every travel person)

These documents have to be available to us before your flight and you must carry it in original during your journey.

Recommendation for your safe journey
  • Please do follow the general and common recommendations.
  • We recommend and ask you kindly to wear a mouth and nose masks during your stay on board. If you do not have one with you, our crew members will be happy to provide you with a disposable mask.
  • Due to the spread of the corona virus, numerous countries are currently issuing various entry requirements that change temporarily and often quickly or adopt special procedures when air travellers arrive.
  • Please therefore inform yourself urgently about the current entry requirements of your destination country before you start your journey, as you are self-responsible for compliance with these. entry
